The nation’s beloved soap, Coronation Street, is set in the imaginary town of Weatherfield, Manchester. It first aired on 9 December 1960 and is the longest running TV show in the UK. But from our experiences at Elstree, we all know that film and television studios often hide secret stories of strange things that go bump in the night.
