Derek Acorah hits out at ‘Most Haunted’
Posted by admin as Most Haunted News

Derek Acorah has claimed that Most Haunted has declined in quality following his departure from the show.
The TV star was the main medium on the Living TV programme from 2001 to 2005, and has since worked on a number of other paranormal projects for the channel, including Derek Acorah’s Ghost Towns and Derek Acorah’s Quest for Guy Fawkes.
“I’ve watched the programme since [leaving] and I must admit I’m shocked – it has the tendency to become like Scooby Doo,” Acorah told Celebs On Sunday magazine.
“It wasn’t like that when I was on Most Haunted and no one ever approached me and said: ‘Can you do this or that?’ Everything was genuine when I was on it.”
Asked how his wife Gwen copes with his psychic abilities, he replied: “It’s been difficult for her, she’s a soldier. For a woman to live with a man like me for all these years, she’s a true life star. A person unlike my wife would have probably thrown in the towel.”
