Most Haunted Live will return on 25th March 2010 and the event is titled Most Haunted Live: Gothic Prague – Evil Within.
Locals say that ghosts and spirits surround the city walls. Water goblins tend to hide under Charles Bridge. This bridge is a huge tourist attraction; dating back to the Middle Ages. At that time, ten lords were executed; their heads stuck on poles and placed on the bridge gruesomely. If you’re brave enough to stick around till midnight, you can hear screaming voices of the dead spirits.
Another interesting story is the legend of a walking skeleton. A jealous wife got upset with her husband and hit his skull with a nail and killing him. His spirit wanders the streets of the Old Town. His spirit will be freed if someone removes the nail from his head.

The locations of Most Haunted Live Gothic Prague are currently to be :
25th March 2010 : Night One
The hunt begins with a night at the Old Town Hall, which was once used as a prison and execution site.
After King John of Luxembourg accorded the citizens of Prague the privilege of having their own district council in 1338, they decided to build a Town Hall, paid for by a duty levied on wine. The almost 70 meters high tower was completed in 1364. Due to continuous expansions, the building now is a colorful collection of gothic and renaissance-style façades. During the 2nd World War, the building was severely damaged when the nazis suppressed the Prague uprising, but it is now thoroughly restored.
26th March 2010 : Night Two
The team venture into the city’s underground maze of waterworks where mysterious noises have terrified local workers.
27th March 2010 : Night Three
The team leave the comforts of the city and spend the night in the mysterious Castle Krivoklat.
Krivoklat Castle is located about 40 km west of Prague. It was built in the late 13th century as a hunting lodge, a weekend getaway for the Premyslid Princes and the seat of the royal master of hounds. Later, Wenceslas I built a stone castle on the spot and Charles IV used it in the 14th century.
Krivoklat Castle is located about 40 km west of Prague. It was built here in the 13th century during the rule of Premysl Otakar II as a summer seat and hunting lodge for royalty. In 1422 the Krivoklat Castle was damaged by Hussites and later, in the years 1493 – 1522, restored by King Vladislav Jagiello, who built the vaulted Gothic hall that has many resemblances with the famous Vladislav Hall at the Prague Castle.
Czech King and Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV. spent his early childhood here before being sent off to France. Habsburgs used the Krivoklat Castle as a prison. In its round tower English alchemist Edward Kelley was incarcerated for two and a half years for failing to reveal the secret of the philosopher’s stone to Rudolf II.
Current appearance of the Krivoklat Castle dates from 1826, when the Furstenberg family extensively restored it after a fire. The reconstruction was made by Czech architects Joseph Mocker and Karel Hilbert.
28th March 2010 : Night Four
Castle Houska. Why the castle was built or its main purpose is still a bit of a mystery in itself but it gets the nickname of “Gateway to Hell”.
Houska Castle is an early Gothic castle, 47 km north of Prague, in the Czech Republic. It was built by Ottokar II of Bohemia during his reign (1253–1278) and became an important royal abode. It later passed to the hands of the aristocracy in which it remained until 1924, the times of the First Republic.
Houska castle (most specificaly the chapel) has been constructed over a large hole in the ground that is supposedly so deep no one could see the bottom of it. Half animal half man creatures were reported to have crawled out of it, and dark winged creatures flew in the vicinity of it. When construction was begun on the castle, all the inmates that were sentenced to death were offered a pardon if they consented to be lowered by rope into the hole, and report back on what they saw. When the first person was lowered in, after a few seconds he began screaming “pull me back up”, and when they did he looked as if he had aged 30 years in just a few seconds. He had grown wrinkles and his hair had turned white, as old folklore tales state. He was admitted to a insane asylum and died within 2 days. The castle was built with no fortications, near no trade routes, built with no water, no kitchen, and no occupants at its time of completion. Houska castle was not built to keep inhabitants or as a protective sancuary, it was built because they thought the hole was a gateway to hell. Thus, by constructing the Gothic building, they were able to keep the demons trapped in the thickest walls (the lower level walls closest to the hole) of the castle. The people who work there are said to know this, and they are just as spooked as you would expect them to be.
During the Nazi occupation of this area in the early 1900’s many physics experiments where done by the Nazi Reich in the castle and most specifically in the chapel where the Nazi’s made attempts at opening dimensional portals and other physics/science experiments.

Being a fan of the show I am always interested in hearing any news about it. I feel I must also comment on something I feel is important to the sucsess of the investigations and the show in all. The events and that includes the upcoming prague live,are only as good as the medium or mediums they use for the show. David Wells was excellent and I used to really enjoy the investigations when he was the resident medium. Please for the good of the show bring him back !!!!! David had princeples and didnt just come out with any old thing,he got the storys of the spirits told and always offered them help and compassion. If the show is unable to get David to return then they have to find a medium with high standards. It has to be someone thats up to the job in hand,or the show will just flop. Thats my opinion anyway,so its take it or leave it Carl and Yvette

I was most upset to recieve a letter in the post saying the the live show we had tickets for in woking on 26-05-10 had been cancelled we had been waiting a long time to get tickets for a live show and where really happy to be going as we go on ghost hunts ourselves, there was no reason given for this, I live for MH and watch it all the time over and over, good luck with this one

Myself and my fiance live in Ireland. Were huge fans of the show!!! Watching it now! If anybody knows how we could possibly ‘Tag’ along with the team please tell us. Were hooked on the show and lets face it nothing ever happens in Ireland. By the way so glad you got rid of Derek Akhorah he was embarassing to watch and wrecked the show. Theres not a thing in this world i wouldnt do to become part of the most haunted team!!! Along time ago i saw a little girl in a window on fire the house was a blase and no one could get to her and to cut the story short as i watched her die in such a tragic way! The memories are still alive and real to me even today! but my discovery is that since that day as i grew i began to see her in the most unlikely places and its followed me ever since…

Since watching our first ever MH Live in autumn 2008 my husband & I have been hooked. I always thought there might some truth in it but my husband was very sceptical at first but is now a massive believer. I very sadly lost my father to the spirit world on Saturday 13th march but am pleased to say he came to say goodbye to me in the early hours before he died, he lived in Yorkshire & we live in Sandbach Cheshire. It is through watching MH that has given me this believe and the great comfort it is giving me in these first difficult days Thankyou
I would like say great show and good look for the investigation in Prague. I agree with what Caroline Says in that David Wells is the best medium you have had on the show. It would be great if you had him come back, if not for good but as a special guest for one more live event. After watchin all of the series of most haunted, most of the best phenomena has happened when David Wells was with the team. I would also like to say that Chris Conway is the best replacement you have had since David left. Chris & David together in a live event would be awesome. I also think you should go back to the Preston Manor, probably the best place you have been to. Have fun in Prague.
would like to say how brill the most haunted lives and the series are ! i won t be able to see it this time as im on holiday , but have a great time . one of the best programmes on tv !! .

hi, love your live shows but agree that derek acorah spoilt the show he never came across as genuine and indeed isof a a bit showman David Wells is indeed a genuine medium and just what Most Haunted needs to stay on top.

i am a big fan of the show and agree with others that david wells was the best medium you had please try and get him back for at least one live show if not for good May i also comment on the amout of swearing that goes on We miss most of the audibles because of the constant bleeping out of the swear words S TUARTS language is getting worse and we miss most of whats happening Iam no prude and i know the team are under pressure but please guys cut the swearing down

I think Derek Acorah was what put Most Haunted on the map as for David Wells he is an astrologer not a medium also a trangressionist. The leaving statement of Chris Conway sound all to familiar about being fake this has been said on numerous occasions referring to different mediums
I cant wait till this starts I think this will be one of the best shows that they have done yet I will also be watching the web cams to make sure I dont miss any paranormal activity.

Had tickets for the live theatre tour in Darlington which was cancelled and Bought tickets for the one at York instead, (great seats) which i recently found out is also cancelled – whats going on? There were others around the country cancelled too. Why were so many cancelled? I am totally gutted.

My daughter is in Prague on a school trip so I told her to look out for the team. I watch it for entertainment only, it is funny but I don’t believe much of it, the sounds maybe but Karl is such a bad actor, you must think we’re stupid, but I still watch it for the laugh
Please can I come this evening!!! Being living in Prague for the past 5 years and love the show, would be great to see a freaked out Irishman on the show and would definately be great to be apart of the show, once in a lifetime opportunity.

Greetings, we love the show, and Prague, I proposed to June in the old town square as the bells rang in christmas day 08.
we loved walking around the lanes late at night, it was really cold but this was a diffent kind of coldness, felt like we were always being follwed, it was great, wish i had matts job, can’t wait to go back, wish you all the best for the next 3 njights. can’t wait for the dvd to come out.Darren & june

Will they please STOP asking if the spirits want to hurt them and treat them with respect. They don’t want to hurt you, and stop throwing things and getting violent be patient please your fans will love you even more if you are patient and curtious to the spirits.

We wondered if any of you noticed the cat jump from above (ceiling height) onto a ledge or plank when the team were altogether, the cat was behind them, high up, so none of them seemed to notice it as they were looking forward and talking. When the glass moved to 666 three times and Evette said the chant, it seemed couinsidance on how every was getting a gloomy look just like the aura around them was turning dark.
I have been watching MH since series one back in the day when “orbs” were all the rage! lol
Ok I miss David Wells.. he is the most convincing medium I have seen. The scottish guy is “ok” but lacks depth and personality.
Derek was an ass.. think we all know that.
I missed last nights (sat) live show. My V+ box did not record it!! So I have been looking for a way to stream last nights episode from the Most Haunted official site and can not believe there is no way to watch already aired episodes direct from the site!
Big company like Living and MH can afford the server space surely?
I am really frustrated by this knowledge… because equally Virgin doesnt offer it on catch up either.

side note – as much as I am sure Yvette loves Kath/Cath (?) as a friend when she and Lesley get together on a investigation the amount of screams and mass hysteria makes me want to slap them both. I am not saying I would be any different and I am sure its scary as hell but from a viewers POV it doesn’t make for good TV watching hysterical women screaming out any noises made by possible paranormal activity.
With the upmost respect, each should stick to their positions of make up artist and historian.

Its really frustrating watchin mh live cos then only have medium on for first half hour and then they get left. This live was rubbish. Fell asleep on first 3 and didnt watch sunday night. I used to love this show but im losing my respect for it now. Especially since chris conways statement
So what happened in the chapel after the show finished? how are we able to find out about that voice that was copying Yvette? the show was such an anti climax at the end.. i really want to know what happened

Dying to hear what voice spoke to Yvette about. Loved David Wells. Karl is a very bad actor and should be kept in full view at all times and Paul Ross made a fool of himself saying he heard something slithering after Fred Bat spoke of demons being animals and snakes, we’re not stupid. Love Yvette, Kat, Simon Matt and Chris and of course Stuart. Would love to see after live shows analyzed. Love Kieran too. I like Chris Conway but loved David. Please tell Leslie to wear trousers but not trouser suits! Why does she always have to come out with silly questions and references that seem to be macabre and menacing. I’m sure not all spirits want to harm the crew. Why take the nasty view. Crew are still making too much noise but loved live in Prague, apart from Karl. He needs to be more disciplined and no moree bad acting please! Keep up the good work.

Hi I couldn;t wait to see the Brinkburn Priory and Belsay episodes tho as usual am still not convinced either are haunted despite hearing various odd sounds. I been to both places for 20 years and not heard or seen anything spooky and had to laugh at times, which is mean as it’s not filmed as a comedy. well done for filiming the episodes as the english heritage properties dont get shown on the TV much!!
that was an amazing most haunted live i am so interested im going to prague on june 2nd to 6th. i will try to go to as many locations as i can including the derding Castle Houska. wish me luck (im gonna need it)
