Hi everyone, I thought that it would be a good idea to post some news and updates every month to keep you informed of all things MH, and this is the first.
Here is an old – but current – topic:
Usually I wouldn’t bother commenting on the ramblings of ex Most Haunted employees or the s…illiness of the forums, but because of so many inaccuracies recently I have been asked as a special favour to make a comment.
Firstly, the accusations made by the alleged medium Chris Conway are false.
Let us deal in facts:
Firstly his contract finished on the last ‘Live: Series’ shoot, I am more than happy to publish this contract on the net.
He was never asked to be a part of Prague and it is this that has obviously started his negative responses. He was sent a courtesy email on 01.02.10, along with everyone else, informing of the rough dates that the live may fall on. He was never offered a position on it, as shortly after the email was sent we decided to use alternative people in that role. No other correspondence was sent or given and no inclusion in the live was offered or inferred. The fact that we have been obtaining the services of other individuals for some time will become all too clear on the live. Any comment to the contrary is a lie.
We have never held the locations a secret on live shows, as with the very nature of the show, these things get out anyway – and we have never hidden the fact. If the alleged medium uses any information prior to a shoot for their own advantage, then that is only fraud on their behalf and a complete loss of trust with everyone they work with, we can only trust them – we can’t control them.
I am not going to go into the reasons why we decided not to use Chris as I feel that it wouldn’t be professional to do so. Save to say that if anyone goes to Lincoln Prison, have a look at the first room on the right where you shall see all of the information given out as ‘psychic’ on the show written for all to see. That is fact and something which no-one, even you believers out there, can deny.
We are all shocked and saddened at the things being said by someone that we plucked from obscurity, showed nothing but respect and kindness to, and have given a platform to launch their career. He isn’t the first to show such dishonour and sadly I’m sure he won’t be the last.
To all those that have supported us I extend a hand of gratitude and deep thanks for all of your kind messages which makes us realise that we are doing the right thing.
We have always made Most Haunted for the millions of true fans in the UK and worldwide, that make this the most successful paranormal brand in the world, and will continue to do so.
Anywho, onwards and upwards. The Live in Prague is looking superb and promises to be the best yet.
Most Haunted is an ever changing beast and the future is bigger and better than ever so watch this space and see you all in Prague.

I was legally gagged then attacked on a public forum by the person responsible for gagging me. This smacks of double standards. For the moment I am removing this gag to respond to these allegations.

I have never denied my contract finished. It ended after EVERY series and Live. You want to publish my private contract on the net? Yet you have the cheek to cry because I have an opinion about your show.

I think anyone seeing the look of disgust, suspision, and uneasiness on my face would know I wasn’t planning on staying. If you were indeed trying to replace me behind my back without having the decency to tell me this says more about you than me.

I beg to differ. I was never told the locations for the 8 faces of evil Live. Are you trying to say that I have committed fraud? I am an intelligent, degree qualified man. It may only be a 2:2 combined honours degree (which, before you say, I know is the lowest degree about and wasn’t a good mark. However, this degree was made up of various subjects. One was history, world war 2, but the point is I could have, with prior knowledge of the location, found out every name, date, and story about the place. Put simply I could have come accross as the greatest medium to walk the earth. However, I am no fake and chose not to use this knowledge. I still wonder why I was told it though without the public being told.

The point is I already knew where I was going. I wouldn’t have needed a name on a wall to commit fraud. I could have researched it but I didn’t or i’d have impressed more by having lots of names dates etc. However, I have to ask. If you believed I was commiting fraud why did you, live on air, not say? Why did you go along with it. Why were you actualy affected by this name on the wall? I am not saying you commited fraud by these acts. I am merely curious.

You were too kind in this altruistic act of kindness sir. respect and kindness? I won’t reply to that. Ask yourself why am I not the first to show such dishonour?

if your ever in need of a genuine and slightly darkly medium . who could make your ratings soar , email is best as my mind isn’t 24/7 .
thesepast years ive been a dedicated viewer of most haunted but to my dismay having watched the current series on pick tv . on tv In july 2012 . so much of what i see appears to be totally much like acting. i do still see a great deal of i think genuine material , the two guys whom have been a long time with th you seem often insincere , as a person able to communicate with th spirit i do feel credibility
All a bit OTT… It’s a sad loss of a show but there IS plenty more going on out there!! honest 😉
Someone mentioned the ‘Dorset Ghost Investigators’… they are a young, fledgling pair with at this point around 60 investigations of 30-70 minuites on their site and linked to youtube.
Just enough gear to make them credible and stand up to the crowd but still a quite ‘underground feel’. No mediumship and a group I think that will expand.
Really genuine guys who will quite gladly say ‘Nope, there’s no activity here tonight’… refreshing.

I have been watching some of the old Most Haunted and it concerned me that you and other mediums who have worked on Most Haunted portray Pagans and Witches as evil and devil worshipers I am sure you know this is not true.
In addition, witches where the wise women who looked after the villages medical and the village animals needs also giving advice to the villagers.
Prior to Christianity this country was Pagan are you suggesting all Pagans where evil and devil worshipers and made sacrifice to the devil.
The Devil is not and has never been part of paganism or witchcraft as the devil is a Christian concept.
The devil is a way the church gained control over people by using the fear of hell fire and eternal damnation.
Most Haunted and its mediums have fuelled hate towards pagans today for what a TV show. I have to say as a medium I have a lot of respect for you but being part of most Haunted as let you down.
You need to hurry out and get a completely new lv wallet, just having a couple of lv purse Classic handbags.
Chris, ur such an inspiring medium and believe in what is right, respect to you for standing upto this. Look forward to ur spritulist/ psychic event soons.
I love MH and I am really missing it so very much.Its sad to see such behind the back stage bickering.I wish for David Wells to make a return although i do feel a lot of pressure is put onto the mediums to give names,dates and so on.The perfect team for me would have been (obviously)Yvette and Karl,David Wells,Cath, Dr. Ciaran O’Keeffe,and the very wonderful Lesley Smith.I only hope it returns in the near future,But bigger and better than before.Halloween just isnt the same without a MH live 🙁

I used to love watching Most Haunted, it’s a shame that they are no more. I’ve looked for ghost hunting teams around Uk, and have had no luck until on youtube I found a team called the dorset ghost investigators. What I found to be very good about this team is that they’re only two men, not a huge team. They don’t use mediums, and the evidence they seem to pick up is amazing. It’s just a shame you can’t see their faces, but their approach during investigation is fantastic. I still miss most haunted though.

Im really sad MH is now no more. I started watching in 2005, it used to make for brilliant tv once upon a time ago…I used to watch it with my kids all those years ago and we would be genuinely terrified, when it was over we,d bolt up the stairs to bed before the other, so whoever was left had to turn the lights off lol. Ooh the memories..I used to love that show. What made me stop taking it so seriously after a while was flipping Derek Acorah, acting like a crazy fool, God did he milk it, it was bloody cringeworthy to watch him in full flight doing his little “performance”. I was always so impressed with Chris, he was cool calm and took his time – so much so that Yvette would,nt even let the poor guy speak!!! So rude! Id much rather listen to Chris than Yvette bloody telling people to sshhhhh!! like shes scolding a naughty child. The best mediums to ever work on MH were definately Chris and David Wells… Ahh well, its all over now, the end of an era, and so, as Yvette would say….Sleep Tight.
my message.!!!! very very pissed off the way chris conway was treated. that episode were yvette slapped karl and he roared back just showed their true colours, he was made to look a fool by his wife and he didnt like it. would not waste my licence by watching it again after the clips on the net. very poor workmen/womanship. just waste.
most haunted was a show that opened up the paranormal shows like dead famous and ghost hunters…maybe karl and stuart overdo the dramatics sometimes but thats what makes it good entertainment,and for all you moaners out there thats what it is… entertainment…You moan and gripe about all the money made from the show but it is a fantastic concept and they have worked hard so they deserve the money,,Is it jealousy speaking?.. Everyone has a choice in life and your choice is if you dislike it that much don’t watch it!!!! Bring back Most Haunted with David Wells he is fantastic….

Is the Show even still running? Not seen it on TV for ages. Have they finally pulled the plug??
my husband and i have been avid fans since the very start of mh but in one episode quite a while back when carl and stuart had to go in some coffins they refused to spiritually protect themselves, they treated what they were doing like a joke, both of them shouting out in aggression, swearing at the spirits they were trying to communicate with. a couple of non respecting clowns. so after a few more episodes of the same, we couldn’t be bothered to waste our time anymore and we stopped watching. it is a shame it has come to this after all the years of hard work and preparation that must of gone into making this show the success it had become. it was so obvious they were going to ruin it for themselves.
I am realy saddened that a cult show such as MH has become too successful. I have been a fan since the beginning and also love the relationships between Karl and yvette. Then as usual when something gets successful money takes over and feelings run high and TV does it to death (pardon the pun)! It spoils it and creates bad feeling as recently seen. I will miss MH dreadfully but I stand by the decision that Yvette has made as I would think she has probably had enough of all the back biting!!!!! Legal or otherwise!!!!!
everyone just go on youtube and type in ” most haunted fake ” you see sooo many videos that prove they fake events that happen in their shows. I suppose if they dont get ‘paranormal activity’ then they dont have a show. I am just sooo gutted that we have all been cheated into thinking it was all real. I still believe that ghosts are real but I want to find more ways of studying this subject rather than looking up that stupid womens nose all the time.
why don’t you take up andy collins suggestion up, and try out physic questing. what have you got to lose?
